It's quite large at 14.5" tall and bottom has pontil with rings around it.

Yes it does, below the image box there's a text link that says (more attachments) - click it to open another image upload box. You can repeat the clicks to open four upload boxes (the maximum you can attach to one post.) 8)

What have you already considered/ruled out? There doesn't appear to be much wear to the base, for such a big piece, what can you see? How is the top rim finished? Maybe Skruf would be worth a look.

To be honest with you I haven't considered or ruled anything out except maybe its Scandinavian. I don't have as much expertise in vintage glassware like many here. The top rim is very smooth and quite finished. I will post a photo of the top rim for all to see. The pontil is very rough looking and the circular ridges are quite pronounced at certain angles. Thanks so much!
