I haven't yet found the maker of this but it still has it's original retailer's label " Hinton Lane & Son Sidmouth". I have found they had a chemist's shop in Exeter from the early 1900's until they sold up in the 70's I think. It seems they also had a branch in nearby Sidmouth. Apart from being a chemist they also sold perfume and the bottles etc to go with it.

I think the label is Hinton Lake not Lane? It's a gorgeous shaped perfume bottle, and not one I've seen before. I'll move it over to trinket sets as it may nudge someone there who knows more.
There's an interesting history of Hinton Lake here http://www.exetermemories.co.uk/em/_commercial/hinton_lake.php

Thanks Anne, the link you gave is where I got my information from but I still didn't notice it's Hinton Lake. :P. It's actually got quite a big chip on one corner but it doesn't show in all the decoration. I've got another atomiser to post which I've not been able to identify.
