Title: Molyneaux & Webb? Uranium Candlestick - ID = Percival Vickers
Post by: NevB on June 18, 2020, 01:38:55 PM
I'm pretty sure this 6.5" candlestick is Molyneaux & Webb, it certainly looks like another of theirs I've seen on " The History of Molyneaux & Webb" site. Perhaps someone can tell me the pattern, I assume the date is 1850-80?

It's Percival Vickers, in their 1881 catalogue, no pattern name. Yep, probably 1850 to 1860 when it first came out

Thanks very much for the information Neil, now I know I will research it more. I love this yellow uranium glass and have several other pieces.

Just had a trawl through discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk which is available online at the moment. Lots of Percival Vickers registrations but none detailing candlesticks.
