Title: Dartington Vase Question
Post by: Roobarb on August 12, 2020, 07:34:17 PM
Hello, I wondered if anyone knew what era this Dartington vase might be from? I understand it might be a candle holder, but not sure what kind of candle it would suit.

Also, there's a piece of something in the glass. As if a tiny bit of stone got stuck in the making process. Is this something that would ever be done on purpose?

It's an accidental inclusion. The black label indicates that it's a second. It's a Primavera candle holder FT359 designed in 1983. It came boxed with a short white pillar candle. Yours is the optic version (ribbed).
