I've acquired a sculpture bowl with a very worn label which reads "Cris-Daum", and I was wondering if anyone has seen this label before. Would it refer to the well known French glass factory "Daum" or possibly another maker with a similar name?
-
I assume it's just short for Cristallerie-Daum and that it's from 1960's onwards?
-
That's what I thought, but I couldn't find any other examples of this label online, or any other glass like this by Daum, so I wanted to make sure it was "legit".

Why not try emailing them for help. https://www.daum.fr

Did that 2 days ago, no reply so far.

And then there is the match, in terms of shape anyway, to this lot:

Just though I would add to that particular can of worms!

Yes John, I think it is from the same family as these (https://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,41976.msg236241.html#msg236241).
Ever since that thread from 9 years ago, whenever I see these sculptures on ebay or wherever, I always check the listings for labels, but I have still never seen another with a Davidsons label, or Icet label, and now we have similar one with a Daum label. Lots of these sculptures around but the labels are so rare, it's strange!

Yes, matching colours and the same general two colour construction.
Then there is the possibility that they were unbranded to start with, maybe they never had labels?
