This is only 11cm. tall so I presume it's more for sherry or port than wine. It was made in two parts, has a fairly rough pontil and as it has very little wear on the foot and overall, I think it has hardly been used. I'll hazard a date at 1830-50, but maybe a bit later.

More like 1870-90 IMO. Early uranium glass tends to be yellow.

Thanks Christine, most of the ones I've seen have been dated earlier but they don't say if they are uranium or not. Anything up to 1900 is fine by me :).

I have only found two older glasses in this Bristol green in uranium, despite much searching. One has a rough pontil mark and the other has a polished one. http://lustrousstone.co.uk/cpg/displayimage.php?pid=1304 I haven't got a photo of the other

Thanks again Christine, I've searched around and I can't actually find another glass in this size, pattern and colour. However searching for something else I've seen some German glasses in green, not identified as uranium, and I'm wondering if it could be German.

The thought struck me that more of the Bristol Green glasses could be uranium glass without their owners realising. I only found mine because my trusty UV torch found it on a dark shelf.
