A genuine rarity and the first bit of Dark Crystal in green I have ever encountered, a low vase, height about 10cm and diameter 17cm, unmarked.
The only image that I have ever seen before showing any green is the Dark Crystal sales leaflet on Scotland's Glass:

Not that the green shows up well in that leaflet...
I had wondered if the green was more myth than reality but obviously not!

:) The leaflet image is the same image as I saw printed on the official box a small piece of blue Dark Crystal came in.
Not a lot to go on. :-D
It's a lot nicer than I had expected it to be.
I would imagine Scotland's glass would like images of this. It does appear to be the first bit found 8) - unless anybody else can produce some? ;D

Great find John, didn't know they did that colour, first I've seen, here are mine.... ;D ;D ;D

For sure, Frank would be welcome to use the images.
I am guessing that you would find room for a Dark Crystal in blue and another in green if you found them Keith?
This vase photographed well, in the sense that the lights really helped to highlight the texture and make it look a bit more dramatic.

Not seen a piece in ages but always looking ;D ;D ;D

I found a pic of the small blue piece I had.
-
As far as I can remember I have only ever seen one blue piece in the flesh before.

;D We now have an illustration of all the colours made in this thread. Green, red, black, and blue. 8) 8) 8) 8)
The photo of the blue isn't out of focus - the mottling is.
