Dont think its Legras .
Anyone a idee ?
Regards

It's very hard to tell. By Google Image Search it shows quite a variety. Boch Fleres, Japanese Meiji Silver, Moorcroft etc. To me it doesn't seem to be Legras, because I couldn't find anything similar to what you posted. Hopefully someone can answer your question, but I hope we are on the right path here!

Are you absolutely sure it is enamelled and not cold painted with modern laquers?
-
No, I am not sure if it is enameled or cold paint, I think the gold is enameled ... bud modern i dont think so
-
I meant that the cold laquers themselves are modern. :)
For people to decorate things at home.
You can get tubes of gold laquer which make thick lines like those.
One way to tell is if it comes off in hot water - I don't recommend you try it. ;D ::)
-
Can it be Harach ?
-
:) The work is not particulary good quality, even if it's not home-done with modern cold enamels. The raised lines do not contain what is inside them.
-
ok thanks for the help !!!
Think i can give it up ;D
-
:)
Sorry if this was a disappointment.
Are there sections where any gold on the surface has worn off, showing yellow enamel underneath?
Gilded glass normally has that.
-
No disappointment ;)
I had notting to loose so i scrached at te goldcolor and under the gold is a yellow - orange hard layer ...
-
It probably is real enamel then - but it's still not really perfect and beautiful, is it?
It's just pretty. :)
The work you would see on Harrach or Legras would be finer and more detailed, and internal colour would not be going outside raised lines.

Ok thanks for the info !!
