Title: Sweetmeat dish ?

4 inches tall, polished pontil mark with fine line of wear around the foot rim, thought it was for champagne but probably not  ::) ;D ;D

Looks awfully shallow. Dessert or parfait, perhaps?

There is a hollow in the middle but yes quite shallow  ;D ;D

Hmmm, might make it difficult to get the ice cream or pudding out of.
