Hi there,

I have just started collecting paperweights recently. I would like some help on identifying this weight please. I wondered if if it was pre Strathearn due to the coloured canes?

It is about 7cm across and is a fairly shallow weight (not such a big high dome).

I think it is Strathearn, rather than Vasart.

Hi Alan,

Thanks! I was just having a look on Richard More’s website and saw some similar coloured/styled canes in amongst the star weights so this makes sense. Happy with this result as I have started collecting Strathearn weights - I was cleaning out my parents house a few months back and found a miniature one that I liked and it got me interested. It conveniently still had the label so I new what it was! I’ve picked up a few from eBay and now this one.
