Title: Help identifying unique(?) piece of glass
Post by: artPUNK on October 31, 2020, 03:27:45 PM
Hey all. I’m trying to find information about this piece of Glass. There is no year marked on it and the signature is hard to make out (Looks as though it could read “R. Austria”, but it obviously does not).

We have had the piece for a good 20 years now. It measures around 35cm end to end.

:) Signatures can be a nightmare to photograph. It helps to rub a bit of talcum powder over the marks with your thumb, to bring them up, and photographing things with a plain background helps enormously. A sheet of paper, a white sheet, pillowcase or tablecloth. Just something plain. Just like you've done with the plain blue in the first pic which shows the sculpture off really well. ;)
No talcum powder? Cinnamon, cocoa or even flour or cornflour.  ;D
