Does anyone know who produced this piece of glass please? It is signed 'Tom' followed by what looks like Pohr, but I cannot be sure and can find no details of a glassmaker with a similar name. The other side is engraved with what looks like '2000'.
The piece measures around 165mm x 95mm x 43mm.
I'd be very grateful to receive any info.
Many thanks in advance,
Carol

It looks to be a Tom Petit style glass paperweight/sculpture. I have seen these in different colours.

Well done Louise! ;D
I wouldn't have recognised this as being his work at all - I have seen plenty of vases, all very finely made, pastel colours and satinated. ButI did a search and found this exact weight illustrated as being his work, on pinterest.

I like his style Sue a very talented artist, one similar went on E bay recently. :)

My favourite art gallery (The Strathearn Gallery in Crieff, which is very supportive of glass) holds his work.
Here's the page on him, with loads of lovely pics. :)

Thank you very much Louise, I'm sure you've cracked it- most grateful. Thank you also chopin-liszt. Prior to your post, I noticed that Tom has his own site with lots of examples of his work. Very beautiful glass indeed. That you again, Carol
