Am i right in thinking this is a Ysart Brothers scramble weight , has the purple tinge to the glass as seen in some Paul Ysart and Ysart Brothers weights

Ysart Brothers (Vasart) is possible and probably made by Salvador. However, it could be a pre-war weight by Salvador.

Thanks Kevin for your reply i have a Salvador butterfly with the purple tinge to it and did wonder but i wasnt sure if the glass during the Vasart period had a purple tinge due to too much manganese
-
I have always had a problem with purple tinted Salvador items.
I have not heard, or read of, evidence suggesting the glass batch was mixed any differently in the Ysart Brothers (Vasart) period than was used pre-war. And unless the batch control for the amount of manganase was suddenly improved post-war, then a purple tint could have been known for that first peiod of Vasart.
If the pontil mark is not polished then my first thought is post-war. But if other features can tie in with other items believed to be pre-war, then maybe it could also be pre-war but simply not given the extra work on the base.
Nothing defintive there, just musings.
