Title: SUNDERLAND GLASS REG QUERY

I bought a job lot at an auction this week and appear to have bought a piece of sunderland glass by ANGUS & GREENER which was the first to be registered in thier name on 21/12/1858. Just a bowl with wear on the base....
Does the fact that this was the first registration of this partnership make the item worth more......

Not sure if you still have the Angus & Greener bowl, Lilian, but you might be interested in seeing some more Angus & Greener pieces in the same registered design in the topic thread at

As always - the value of something is merely what someone is willing to pay at the time, and if they are willing to pay more for a first registration, well......
