I think this bowl is by Josef Hospodka for Chribska Glassworks. Measurements tall 13cm, tip to tip 31cm, wing to wing 18cm, drop tip to drop tip 24 cm , base 11cm weight 1.4 kg . I would descripe the design as a butterfly.
Any information would be appreciated.

I'm not sure to be honest. It has the look of Chribska, but colour-wise I don't associate them with that kind of orangey red. I wonder if it might be worth looking at Japanese glass for this one.

;D Brilliant suggestion. I was really worried about the colour too, thinking it was more a Chinese shade, but the construction stumped me. I didn't get myself to Japan. :-[
The Japanese name I know would be Hinari, for a textured sort of beast like this. :)

I was thinking maybe Chalet or Lorraine Glass ?

Looking around they seemed fond of this warm orangey red - if the examples are correct in their identification of glassmaker.

Not the same colour, M. ??? and the base construction is compeltely different.
That is a lovely warm reddy orange.
The one being queried here is a bit more of a lurid orange-red. The one that always screams chinese glass to me. :-[

There are different shades of red they produced though. I just thought the pulls and foot had some similarities with other of their pieces? though couldn't see the shape match to be fair:

:) The pulls are right, as is the shape overall, but the base, to me, is enough to negate the same maker.
And the colour of the one under query is just the one, very particular shade; it doesn't seem nearly as sophisticated to me, as the Chalet Lorraine.

Yes, Hinera would certainly be one strong possibililty. There's a piece here (although a vase rather than a bowl) that has a similar colour. There were other makers of course.

It might be worth the OP joining the specialist Facebook group for Japanese glass. I believe it's run by a poster from here.

:-[ Thanks for the very subtle correction!

So subtle I wasn't even aware I was doing it! :)
