Title: Murano ashtrays?
Post by: Groncross on February 28, 2021, 08:48:16 AM
I've had these two ashtrays for around 40 years, bought on a trip to Venice. I'm guessing that they're Murano glass. I've seen the shape of the pink one before, but not the green one. Have you seen something similar? I love their simple shape and weight  Unfortunately over the years I've managed to put a small chip in both!

Hi and welcome to the board.

I can't help with id but hopeful someone will be along soon who will be able to.
I love the green piece - fabulous colour and design.

The pink piece looks as though it could be neodymium - does it change colour under different types of lightbulbs?  i.e. incandescent v led or uv light?
