Title: Tumbler measure glass ??

Hi , this glass is 7cm tall with a measure line and has a grey hint too the glass,it has a polished pontil with good wear on the foot .I’ve never seen one before and suspect it’s a measure or absinthe tumbler if there is such a thing ?? Any thoughts many thanks .

Hi, looks like quite a modern shape to me...unless it use to have a stem and a foot ;) Are you sure the measure marks aren’t just water marks? It looks like there are about 3 parallel marks, the top two being more faint (unless that’s the photo/reflection etc). Are they on the inside, right around the circumference?

Yup !! Bang on they rubbed off  ::) ::)..I’ be given it a wipe down and all of a sudden it’s looking a bit 70’s scandi ? maybe a touch smoke glass .Well spotted !

 :D That’s good. When I get marks like that I can never get rid of them  ;D
