Title: Blue vase
Post by: bat20 on June 04, 2021, 11:40:19 AM
Hi ,this vase is  6” tall with a polished pontil and is light but with a lot of wear too the base,it looks a bit  70’s/80’s at first but the rim maybe hints at something a little older ??The base is triangular so maybe mould blown and then someone had some fun altering the shape .Any thoughts cheers .

Just thought I’d show the sharper type knife dimples from above.

Gorgeous love it!  It reminds me of some Lauscha Glas pieces with pushed in sides.

Me too Anne, something about the dimples softening glass is interesting. With the rim , lightness, dirt and moss type wear I’m leaning towards art nouveau period , ..have been known to be wrong before though 😂
