Hi ,I’m used too the frosted animals on Art Deco glass but this got me a bit by surprise ,so a few questions please . Are painted birds more unusual than the frosted ones ,How do they do it ?Are they older than the frosting or in tandem,maybe later ?It’s 10”high .thanks.

Similar colours and the technique must be the same ,I can only think they must be painted and then fired in a kiln ?it would have to be fired very slowly too avoid thermal shock ,0

Most enamel is fired on whatever glass (or ceramic) item it's on. Cold enamel is relatively rare
