Title: Slag Spill Vase
Post by: Tinker-Taylor on June 29, 2021, 02:48:39 PM
Hello

I recently bought this vase because I like it but I have no idea who made it.
I thought it might have been Sowerby but it does not have the logo and I can't find it in the Sowerby catalogue.
Over to you clever people!

It stands 13cm tall.

Thanks in advance,
Stuart.

Hi, a picture of the base would be handy, does it have concentric rings?also sometimes these pieces have very faint mark down the bottom inside.
Thanks

Unable to ID it myself, but I have found another one:

(the extra pictures may be useful)

it does of course look the part but aside from that there seems nothing else to substantiate the suggested date  -  would have been useful if 20th Century Glass had provided some indication of provenance.             Might be worthwhile asking them how they arrived at their description.
