Title: Clear vase - Czech or not?
Post by: Put-Lug on June 30, 2021, 12:24:41 PM
Hi!

Can anyone help me identify this vase? I thought I had seen it as Czech but now cannot find it anywhere!

9” (23cm) tall, quite heavy.

Would really appreciate any help!

Thanks!

Surprisingly most of these turn out to be Fidenza, Italy. See here http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,67088.0.html and here http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,39194.10.html

Thanks for your help and for all the links, very interesting. Mine does not have any stamp or mark at all but have to believe it is probably Fidenza as no one has been able to verify these were ever Czech produced.

Most seem to have the word ITALY in tiny letters somewhere on them, but I read that some just had a star logo.
