I've seen a few of these in the past but can't remember who made them or where they came from. Can someone tell me please. A usual, I can't find one on Google!!! Than you as always for any input.

Base shot please. We always need a base shot

Another 3 pics for you...base wise. Thank you.

No one hazard a guess? Or Know? I remember seeing one on 20thcentury a long while ago but I've gone through all the pics and can't find it. There was also a chap at the Malvern flea who had the red one and also a blue one. It is heavy...Murano-esque but something tells me it isn't and could be Scandi. Thank you.

Magnor did some beak vases. Could that be what you are thinking of perhaps?
I also wonder if it could be Chalet Glass?
Not everyone is on the board all the time and sometime it can take a while to get an identification.
Do you have any glass books at all? I find they can be a superb resource for coming across items I may not find elsewhere or know about.

If it is Murano could it be Flavio Poli?

Viking is a possibility too.
But this style of vase could conceivably come from half a dozen countries.

I would suggest one of the appropriate Japanese makers like Iwatsu, Kineri, Sanyu, Kamei , etc. is a possibilty. Many "slung" Murano vases are actually Japanese.

Friends, thank you. What a minefield! As has been pointed out above, it could be from a number of countries. I've had a look at the Japanese makers but I couldn't find my vase. However, I did spot a vase that had the distinct coloured 'point' at the bottom, on the inside. All the Italian vases have a rounded coloured interior so I've decided to rule Italian/Murano out. There are a lot of Viking vases but absolutely nothing like my vase or anything to resemble it. I think it could well be Japanese but of course...there again!!!! Thank you for your info fellow members. Much appreciated. The research continues.
