Hi , this vase/large goblet? Is 6” tall with some wear ,mid century ? It’s fairly thick, any thoughts thanks .

There's a possibility it's older than you think. Try researching "Biedermeier" glass goblet.

Did cross my mind , but it doesn’t seem quite good enough ?? Close though

Not as ornate as a lot of Biedermeier pieces but the shape is right. It might be a later copy of that style so could be 1860-1910 but I don't think any later, maybe Bohemian or French?

Thanks Nev , I’ll look in that direction.

A very similar piece pictured here. Seems to be the exact pattern. Short stem version. Ground and polished base is not flat but beveled inward so wear is only on the extreme edge. Lots of bubbles. Pretty sure non-lead glass. 5 1/4 inches tall. Two piece mold.
I landed in the same vicinity as Nev on this one. Probably Bohemia last half of the 19 century.
I have seen one other example of this short version in canary/ yellow

So sorry Cagney I missed your post somehow !? Very interesting, the colour would suggest later production perhaps , I think I am moving towards late the victorian period now , thanks .
