Title: Dugan/Diamond Carnival Glass Vases
Post by: NevB on September 22, 2021, 08:24:17 AM
Three vases by either Dugan or Diamond. The information I have is the companies took over the former Northwood factory in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Dugan from 1903-13, Diamond 1913-31. Apparently the Dugan vases were quite heavy, so not knowing the relative weights and these being fairly light I think they are by Diamond. They are a pair of "Pulled Loop" and a single "Target" pattern 11" tall in Marigold.

Nev, it might be worth having a browse through Glen and Stephen Thistlewood's site here https://www.carnivalglassworldwide.com/

Thanks Anne, I had a look through that site and another which gave me the information about the weight difference. Here is another site.

It states the Diamond vases have a conical base like mine. I'm hoping the "target" vase is an amber one which it says is rarer.

It might be worth dropping Glen a line via their website and ask her, she's very helpful. She is a member of this board and also has a Carnival group on Facebook. Glen has always responded when I've asked her anything.
