A lovely piece of art deco opalescent? white swirl glass 20cm high with a ground pontil to base..Any thoughts appreciated

Hi - welcome to the GMB :) I hate to be picky on your first outing, but are we really sure the colouring on this one isn't simply opaque white glass - does this vase, for example, produce the opalescent (sunset glow) when held to a strong light - I can't see that effect in your picture ? I think the folk here also like to see a picture of the underside of glass - the type of pontil depression can be of help, sometimes.
You may well be correct with your description of art deco - an artistic style rather than indicating that something dates specifically to c. 1920 - 1940 - will leave others to comment on that.
Anyway an attractive and useful piece. :)

Welcome. Quite tricky to tell from the photos, could possibly be a cloudy white lattice vase by Whitefriars, circa 20s-30s.
Could you kindly add a base shot please?
-
Hi yes the glass has sunset glow and a has a bluish tinge.. thank you for your help. I have attached a pic of base

Thank you for adding a base shot.
There are quite a few examples of Whitefriars cloudy white lattice glass shown in the below Glass Association PDF link, which may help when comparing....(hope the link works)
