Anyone know this signature
-
Just checking- I see three words here, do you as well when you look at the piece or am I seeing something that isn’t truly there?
Would you please share the form of the piece? That might help with dating or perhaps an artist’s style too.
-
It is words as it is the signature of whoever made it.

Here is another of signature.

What a lovely piece! Let me do a bit of research and see if I can uncover anything which might help. I’m a new member here so perhaps a more seasoned member who is knowledgeable in Art Glass will also offer their insights.

Thanks for the clarification- I wasn’t sure if it might be a sir name which had a prefix to it. That’s why I wondered about seeing three distinct areas of writing.

The talc is a little erratic This method works well with flat or nearly flat surfaces.
1. Take the item outdoors.
2. Face away from the sun(to lessen reflections)
3. Take the photo from a fairly low angle - this will make the base appear lighter(as it reflects the sky) and the siganture will be darker because it does not reflect. Here is an example which shows what I mean. Remember sharp focus is all as out of focus can't be readily fixed , if at all.

Was coming to suggest cream of tartar or baking soda. Glad to see someone beat me to it!

I would start by researching Murano artists.
-
Murano looks unlikely to me
-
I agree with Lustrousstone - unlikely to be Murano. I also doubt a Chinese origin with what I can see so far.
The main problem I have about making a suggestion is that there is no complete photo of the base.
If the base has a pontil scar I would assume a small studio is most likely.
And if has a pontil scar, it would be helpful to know the place it was bought - location not the shop.
