Title: Help me identyfy these two pieces
Post by: ca31hills on October 24, 2021, 10:09:13 AM
Hello,
would you mind helping me find the origin of these two beautiful glass pieces?

I reckon it is probably murano sommerso but not really sure, any help would be great, speccially  period and designer.

Please see the photo attached, 2euro coin for scale.

many thanks,,
rob

Hello Rob, welcome to the message board.

Your larger piece looks like it was made by Chribska, can't say for sure as your photo does not show enough detail but see what you think in this link, it is page 31 from the Chribska catalogue of 1999:

Hi Rob, welcome to the board. We ask that items are posted as separate topics so that we can talk about each one without getting muddled up, plus it makes filing to the proper country forum after ID very much easier that way.

So, would you please repost your smaller bowl as a new topic for us? We also ask for dimensions and a clear view of the base of all items and any marks that there may be. If you need help with any of this please just ask.

Ca31hills can I suggest you post both again with three specific photos for each.  One a tabletop view so it is clear what we are seeing.  Second a side on shot to let us see proportions.  Three - the all importany base photo form about 45 degtrees to one side so we can tell its shape and how it is finished.

It would be helpful for my old eyes if you could get closer so they fill the screen - but sharp focus is absolutely essential.

Thanks in anticipation.
