Largest I've seen so far, 8.5 inches across and 5 inches tall, are there any larger ? ;D ;D
-
That's nice Keith. I don't recall seeing those before.
-
I have smaller bowls but this is a whopper ! ;D ;D
-
Nice varied collection.
Are they all designed by Iestyn Davies?

I'm not sure M, I'll find out ;D

The red one is under the Dark Crystal Range according to the link here.
Looks like the others are all under Impressions Range:

This small finger vase is also part of the range. It has a butterfly landed on a flower. c.15cms long.
I also have 4 Pink Impressions, 3 Green, and 2 Ebony & Gold.

Impressions is by Iestyn Davies. It is remarkably similar to IoWSG Meadow Garden, and he trained there. ;D
He also designed Ebony and Gold, which bears some resemblance and shares techniques to and with IoWSG Gold Azurene.
I have seen the smaller Impressions bowls this size popped on top of other matching bits, as a lid.
I do believe you have the biggest size there, Keith. :)
We also have a thread where all the different colours of Dark Crystal are illustrated. I do not know who designed that.

ooh that green bowl on your link Sue is gorgeous!!
-
John's initial discovery, it's the only green Dark crystal piece known. It belongs to my wee brother now.
We can't understand why green was so rarely made - it's really lovely. :)
The blue is a bit yukky and "out of focus". Only small pieces in blue have ever been found.
-
I love the green blue and red and the designs. That's a very successful range in terms of colour, decor and shape in my opinion.
They're lovely.

This is all Stuart-Strathearn, the tail end of Ysart glass, before Perthshire: not Stuart per se.
-
All together now with a couple of 'non Stuart' pieces to fill the gaps ;D
