Title: Looking for Large glass display vase info
Post by: ohiost90 on January 01, 2022, 07:29:58 PM
Hoping to find any information regarding this large glass display vase.   It’s appx 4 ft tall and is in four sections.   The base, the cylinder middle, the wider top, and then lid.  Parents purchased at auction 30 years ago near Cleveland Ohio.  No manufacture marks that I can find.

Hello and welcome to the board. You say this is in four sections - does that mean it comes apart, or are you meaning the way it appears to be made?  To me it looks like a kitchen spaghetti holder.

Thanks Anne!

It comes apart, with the pieces acting as lids for the corresponding piece below as the three lower sections have mouths.  In other words, one could fill the base with one item, the middle with another and the top yet with a different item and they wouldn't co-mingle.

Similar find on eBay USA listed as Mcm empoli apothecary jar, worth checking out anyway.
