Title: XXL Swedish glass vase...perhaps Nanny Still ?

Hi there
Just bought this piece...which has original label...made in Sweden. It has been drilled , i am sure, to use as a lamp base.
Any body have an idea as to pattern and designer.

Norman, have a look at Ruda glass on google images. your item seems to be the right colour and texture for there products.
There will also be a designers name there.

Thanks for looking....it does not fit into their designs. I am very aware of Ruda as their creations are of a heavy thick glass. This is not that thick but due to its size , its heavy. Size : 15 x 61cm High

it's not uncommon for glass firms to make their vases into lamps by adding a light fitting in the top. The fitting looks good in the photos so it might have been sold like that.
