After reading here for a while, I dare to ask for help.
I bought this green spattered vase with some kind of "fingerprint" on the front on an antique market in germany.
I just liked it and wanted to have it. Still I like to know the maker.
Any ideas, leads, hints, help would be appreciated.

:) Hello and welcome to the board.
Thank-you so much for your great photos, posted directly!
I can't help with a maker, but this is a studio glass piece, and it doesn't have "fingerprints" on it.
It has been flattened on the marver to make it square in profile. Flattening the round, molten, blown hot glass on the marver causes those rings to appear. :)
It looks like you used your email address as your username?
Can we ask you to change it, please?
It is for your own protection - so that you do not get harvested by spam bots. :)
One of our moderators might be needed to help you with that. I will contact one to ask.
Do not worry about it - we are here to help. :)

Hello Stephan and welcome to the board. I've amended your display name that shows on the board to protect your email address from being picked up by spammers. You will still need to use it as your login for your account on the board though.

Anne, thank you, that works fine for me :)

Thank you, I did not know about that. That is what I like - always learning something new.
Sad though that its maker seems to get lost in the mist of times. :(

:) It will remain illustrated with the question about a maker here, and we will try to find the maker.
We do not give up. Some identifications take years and years.
We don't let them get lost in the mists of time. ;D

That sounds great ;D Thank you.

Stephan, does the vase glow under a UV light (blacklight)?

Good question. I have to try it with this one. Will do, when I'm back home on Sunday. Thanks for the impulse!
