Do we have any Russian speakers here? I was recently informed about a Luxfer entry at the Russian National Library (https://primo.nlr.ru/primo-explore/fulldisplay?docid=07NLR_LMS004823714&context=L&vid=07NLR_VU1&lang=en_US) and I'd like to add it to my online library, but have a couple questions.
First, the catalog has the title "Луксфер", хрустальные призмы для внесения дневного света в темные, глубокие помещения, и "электро-стекло", отличающееся высшей огнеупорностью : Практ. руководство для г. г. зодчих, инженеров и техников
which translated is "Luxfer", crystal prisms for bringing daylight into dark, deep rooms, and "electric glass", characterized by the highest fire resistance: Practical guide for architects, engineers and technicians
but I'm trying to come up with a succinct title for my online library. There is an English Pocket Hand-Book of
Electro-Glazed Luxfer Prisms so maybe just Electro-Glazed Luxfer Prisms? Is that what's meant by "electric glass"?
Second, who's the author? I know there was a Russian branch of Luxfer but the author is listed as Sigismund Maximilianovich Lindner (S. M. Lindner). I can't see anything on the front cover (shown below) or title page or anywhere else that gives the name of the Russian Luxfer company. This is the only catalog entry at the RNL for Lindner.

Good find, thanks. That seems to be the only reference to S.M. Lindner and glass blocks or tiles online. The post you pointed to says in part
Just this year, as indicated in the reference books, the firm “S.M. Lindner Trading House” moved to the architect K. Schmidt’s own apartment house on Khersonskaya Street, 13 (the corner of the Perekupny per., 12), the largest supplier of imported ceramic finishing materials in pre-revolutionary St. Petersburg.
The advertisement of the company says that the company sells not only tiles, but also facing and glass brick, granite, sandstone and other finishing materials.
so maybe Lindner is the correct author and he represented Luxfer?

So being their local representative is entirely possible, Ian.

Interesting thread, I've never heard of Luxfer before and it made me curious.
If of any use, here are few links I found.

Naturally, illuminators appeared in all modern European cities, including Moscow, where they were installed around pre-revolutionary shops and warehouses. Russian plants mastered production of frames where licensed lenses were attached into.
Illuminators from the "Bergman and Fom-Scheydt" Trade House are saved in Krivokolenny Lane near the entrance of the house №7 (both from street and yard sides). An inscription "LUXFER" is visible on the upper border, but instead of original prismatic lenses pieces of ordinary glass are inserted here too. The trade house existed since 1894 and was engaged in distribution of various machines, equipment for brick, paper and textile industry, civil engineering and installation of luxfer hatches.
