Title: Bristol blue cream jug trailed rim
Post by: bat20 on March 02, 2022, 02:58:33 PM
Hi , this piece got got the juices going when I saw it,I’ve not seen one with a trailed white rim before live and I can’t find one on line now !?,I think it’s Georgian around the 1790 mark, but more than happy to hear peoples take on it thanks…broken pontil, applied foot ?,good wear on the foot and light age markings on the body itself where it’s probably been in a cupboard touching other things over a few hundred years ? Thanks for looking .

Nice jug, I think you’re as spot on as you can be with those characteristics don’t forget the sparrow beak. I bet you won’t be able to find another one. Thanks for sharing
