Title: Sowerby Creamer Rd.274743. 1873
Post by: NevB on April 03, 2022, 11:04:40 AM
From this mornings boot sale, it is not easy to read but I think the lozenge is 31, I/July, F/1873, Parcel 5. This relates to Sowerby Rd.No. 274743. It's not in the 1874 catalogue although the pattern is similar to the No.1042 pieces.

It is actually part of the No.1054 suite. Other pieces are shown in the 1874 and 1885 catalogues but I can't find this creamer. There are posts on GMB and GQG.

Although not exactly the same this is it in the 1895 catalogue, P2. The shape/pattern in the catalogue is more squat and mine has the pattern moulded into the glass between the two ends of the handle.
