Title: Is this just an extra large Whitefriars 9691 Bark Vase
Post by: mhgcgolfclub on April 21, 2022, 08:06:05 PM
Is this just an extra large Whitefriars 9691 Ruby Bark Vase.

Height just under 10.5" which seems to be quite a lot more than the 9"
Diameter 4.75"

Weight a very heavy 2159gm

Thanks Roy

A short lived design apparently, 1969 and pattern number 9734, according to the catalogue available in 4 colours:

Quite substantial pieces, searching under the term 'Whitefriars bark vase with fluted base' should throw up a few others examples.

From looking online briefly I gather that Meadow Green wasn't a colour that was shown in the catalogue. P I presume was for Pewter.
