Thanks Greg that's what I was beginning to think, I didn't want to put words into people's mouth . I was not 100-percent sure if even the shape was correct.
There is is even a very slightly raised pontil mark.

Very well spotted, Greg. It did not immediately say Monart to me. It looked like something I ought to know, but I was stumped. I would imagine it is not a particularly common design to encounter. :)

A nice example of Monart shape V. Plate 112 in Ysart Glass illustrates this hard to find style of decoration.

It was a £1.00 car boot find from yesterday. I do not think I quite new what I had bought at first.

Bargain indeed! Not seen your AH, can be a blown stopper, I guess someone like Adam Aaronson could make a suitable stopper.
