Hi!
Picked this up at a garage sale this weekend. The woman had some items with stickers from Murano but this one has no ID. The top lip is not cut, but rolled, if that makes sense. It is heavy. I looked for it in the Glass Encyclopedia, but struck out. How can I tell if it is Italian or Scandi? Or maybe it’s a modern Chinese :(. Not in any way an expert, but thought it was nice. Would like to learn more!
Thank You!

Aseda made a similar vase but with your colour I would look at Smalandshyttan first.

The "rolled" effect on the rim is created by fire polishing; it was cut at one point but has been reheated

Thank you both! I looked at the Smalandshyttan pictures I could find on line and the color does match some of them. I found one that has a similar shape as well so maybe that’s the answer. I appreciate your help.
What tells you it is more likely Swedish than Italian?

Instinct and or experience. Not foolproof...

Or kind experts on this message board 😉. Guess I will just have to keep asking questions! Thanks again
