Quiz time .. Who made me ????

I think this will be to easy but have a guess.

Height 6"
Diameter 6.5"

Weight a heavy 2566gm

Yes it starts with a W and can be dated very precisely

Hi thanks I lost the whole of this evening being stuck in bed with a common cold, which is not good news when you suffer from Parkinson's disease.
Yes it was a Wedgwood piece but John knew that in the first 2 minutes. I am pretty certain it was designed by Ronald Stennett Willson being one of his studio pieces called green on green.
The vase dates to between 1969 and 1971. The base is marked Wedgwood England with the Portland vase.

I was already logged in and faffing around on the board, maybe should have stayed silent...

I think these were made in at least three shapes. Interesting that yours is marked, often they are not for some reason.

Just to finish off a picture of the mark which was only used between 1969 and 1971.
