Title: Decanter ID?

Hello,

Can anyone help date & identify the maker of this heavily decorated, cut glass decanter..?

It weighs approximately 1.1 kgs and is around 25 cms high. It doesn't have any marks on the base, but something has been etched on the lip which I think reads '30'..?

The odds of finding a maker for this style of oval pattern decanter are near zero. Ovals were a very popular decoration, particularly in the 1860s to 1870s, the most likely date for this. The number 30 is the run number for the batch. It would have had a matching stopper with 30 etched on it.
