Title: Murano vase ???
Post by: Rooby1968 on June 13, 2022, 09:54:15 PM
I recently inherited this vase from my mother and would like some help on identifying it please as I believe it could be Murano.I contacted one dealer who said it was probably a cheap Chinese copy as the pontil on a Murano would be polished smooth which it is !! Another dealer told me it was probably a 19th century vase probably made in Stourbridge, please could anyone help clear this up?

I'd go with the second opinion. Try searching "jack in the pulpit" vase.

Looks like it is lamp worked. Is it very light in weight?
