Title: Fenton Custard Glass Cat

This is one of the Fenton hand-painted uranium custard glass cats. Probably from the 1970's-80's, this one was painted by Valory Gherke who worked for Fenton on and off from 1977-99. Height is 9cm. and quite heavy at 310gms/11oz.

And the pose. It is beautifully modelled.
I try very hard to resist cute kittens. I do not succeed when they are well done.  ;D

I  have a couple of Fenton hand painted cats but i am jealous!!!

Thanks Mbullock, I was actually looking for a cat in cobalt blue uranium glass but saw this one and couldn't resist it.
