Bought at a Car boot yesterday 2 hours in so nobody really fighting for it. Paid £2.50 for it.
Just over 9" in height and weighs 980gm.
So who am I ?

Jiri Suhajek?
-
Thanks m I do not think it's Jiri.
To make it a little bit easier looking more for the glassworks and country rather than the artist as the vase is not signed by the artist , only glassworks country and date..

Scandinavian.....Kosta Boda ?
-
Sorry but no no .
-
Hahaha - I thought you might be leading us astray with this one, so I went right out on a limb... and fell off :-)
-
??? but given the clues Maltese?
John
-
Sorry not Malta John.
I would stick with Ian quite a big clue.
-
Jema Glasbruk?
m
-
I am not sure about that name, but it's not Sweden or Boda
-
Blenko?
-
I have seen these colours together in Hadeland.
-
Not Blenko or Hadeland.
Wrong country.
Couple of clues a nearby country to Boda and Hadeland. The vase is dated 1996 and the Glass works are known for there glass birds.

Nuutajarvi Notsjo or Iittala if more recent I assume? Would never have guessed.
-
Sorry Greg neither of them 2 are right.
The Glass works goes back about 45 years and yes it is Finland

Sorry but I think they are all wrong, pieces are still selling on ebay.
While I leave this running I will post some pictures of my Bohemian tall vase bought at auction yesterday.
-
Denmark .... Holmegaard?
-
Ian, I think we're supposed to be in Finland with this one :)
Sorry Greg neither of them 2 are right.
The Glass works goes back about 45 years and yes it is Finland
I'm now all out of ideas - Riihimaen Lasi ?
-
Missed that useful bit..
-
That was when you fell off the limb, Ian. You're excused. ;)

Thanks, Sue... I think I must have had concussion. 😂

This is a tough one...
How about either, Art Glass Team Finland or Hummpila?

We should hopefully conclude this tonight. Thanks for playing along.
Roy

No, thanks for sharing. It's a region of glass I know nothing about really so I've found it interesting to look up some research.
m
-
Muurla ?
-

-

It's been really great to do some reading :)
-
The vase cost £2.50 and was bought from the couple who bought it new from the shop in Finland.
Thanks everyone for hopefully a good quiz.
PS Vases do not seem to be there thing, not sure if it was a one off or just one of a few.
