Title: Anyone know what "L/S WINE" means, re Royal Doulton Crystal?

It's on the label, on a box of "Prince Charles" cut glasses, and it's bugging me, that I can't work out what it means  ???

I did wonder about "long stem", but these are definitely not long stemmed...
