Hi,I’ve never handled a Woodchester piece before and stumbling onto this 15cm vase was a hairs on the back of the neck moment for me.I really like the tooling marks on the widest part(can’t be seen in the photo),I’m guessing it was blown in a cylinder mould and then shaped. Thanks for looking .

Glamorous! Possibly two moulds, one for the criss cross pattern and a second for the final shape if it was not done by hand. Is it lead or soda glass do you think?

I would say leaded judging from the length of the ring John.I’ve come across another online with the same sort of shape but 50mm taller, and mines a bit fatter(it’s abit wider than the photo in real life ).So I would think one mould then the shaping done by hand ?

It does bear some considerable similarities to the Harry Powell Mount Jerizim piece Christine had.
