Hello all,
I’ve been trying and trying to identify this signature because I somehow feel I should know it. It’s on a sweet decanter engraved with penguins and an iceberg.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

It looks like it could be Orrefors. The letters "of" make it look so. I can't make out the letter after that. That usually would indicate the signature for the designer, and I think the following numbers would be the actual design number. I'm sure someone will confirm either way, but an image of the piece might help also.

Thank you for the reply Anne. Here is a picture of the decanter (I don’t think the stopper is right though)

I was wondering if it was Edward Hald circa 1935 but I find the coding a bit confusing.

In the Swedish glass factories book your decanter appears on page 90 . As you said it is Hald and the picture is in the 1935 catalogue.
In the picture there are 10 engraved items all with a artic/antartic theme. Your decanter has /10 after the 1325.
unfortunately I cant work out the rest of the codes .
It does carry the wrong stopper. The decanters have a small bullet shaped stopper.
Nice item.

Thank You Tim, at least I know I read the codes correctly. I’ve got it on EBay now but if it doesn’t sell, I’ll try to source the right stopper. Is there any chance you could send me a picture of it in the catalogue?
Thank you
