Bought this vase on Sunday, something about it looked interesting.
The vase is 8.5 inches tall, 6 inches diameter at the top. The weight is 2 kgs
I'm thinking it's British but that's only guess.
Any help with identification will gratefully received.

A guess, but Stevens and Williams made some vases with the unusual internal moulding and the base resembles some of theirs.

Thanks for the reply Nev. The last few days have been busy for me and i have not had time to look in to it until tonight.
I went on to google images (Stevens and Williams) and there is a very similar vase being sold by a company called, Mimi Roberts.co.uk.
The version they are showing is smaller in height to my vase and is attributed to Keith Murray. Could i be that lucky?.
There was only 1 photo on there site so i could not check the base detail.
Will carry on researching.

I did think maybe Keith Murray but didn't like to say in case I was wrong ;D

Keith Murray is pretty well documented but I seem to have got rid of my Keith Murray book. He is also one of those wishful attributions. And the moulding on this vase is not really on the inside, as you can see from the base. It was made using a dip mould and the outside was smoothed to give the optic rib effect

Had a look in the Keith Murray book I have but couldn't see it.

Thanks for all the response's . Yes, a bit of hope over facts did creep in.
I could not find any other image only the one i posted earlier.
I did look at the base of my Stevens and Williams rainbow bowl this evening
and it had similar shake lines but i suppose its the same for all types using that technique.
I will keep on looking.
