I need help in identifying the maker of this perfume/scent bottle that has a dibber. It is signed on the base, it looks like Faith and has the date 1998 also on the base. 8cm in height, and a base diameter of 8.7cm
I did a Google lens search, but it came up blank, as did doing various general google searches. Thank you for any help with this.

The signature/mark on the base, that looks like "Faith"

I know Faith can be used as a girl's name but it could equally refer to the name of a perfume. Perhaps a studio's trial piece for a manufacturer?
Just a thought to bear in mind when searching. :)

Thanks, Sue, I did see some Faith-named perfumes by Jacques Fath, but not in this style of bottle, and they were mostly in plain crystal, not art/coloured glass, I'll keep looking though. This might be one of those that will remain a mystery :)

Does it function as a PB? Is the seal with the dibber airtight?
I'm afraid PBs and perfume are not things I take a huge interest in.
PBs are terribly expensive because there is a specialist market for them.
But I know that the manufacturers are very fussy about their bottle designs and do ask artists to come up with ideas which would do the promotion in a visual form for the advertsing in glossy magazines and large versions of the bottles for shop windows and displays when they come up with a new smell.
(Some of this vaguely known, but confirmed when watching Blown Away season 2. 8) )

I would say it works as a PB yes, and the dibber is airtight when inserted. But I can also see that it could work as a visual piece also.

:) It is very dressing table-y. The nice wide base means it won't get knocked over.

I've seen several perfume bottles with this mark, all different colours and shapes, but the stoppers were all similar. Not been able to find much in the way of info though to pin down a maker. It seems to be Taiti, with the year on the opposite side of the base. Only piece I've seen with an extra clue was 'Taiti for GDG'

Thank you Suzygpr, that makes sense Taiti, I did wonder if the first letter was a T rather than an F, but I didn't see past the last two letters being TH. It gives me another (and better) search angle, thank you so much for the information.
