Title: Large green uranium crackle glass jug
Post by: thewingedsphinx on January 08, 2023, 09:12:02 PM
Hi, I found this large 10” crackle glass jug today at a fair and wondered who made crackle glass around 1900. I’ve checked all my regular haunts but can’t find a comparison.
Would appreciate any help. Perhaps John Walsh Walsh?  It has a polished out sunken Pontil.
Thanks Mike

I've got a green uranium crackle glass vase which I thought might be Walsh because of it's shape but I'm not sure. Reynold's book only mentions a crackle glass fish. There are others on Ebay attributed possibly to Walsh, Powell, Webb and Stevens and Williams. I think the date is around 1900-1930.

Thanks Nev, I’m leaning towards Webb Corbett.
