Title: Baccarat Ships Decanter
Post by: bruce.hall.cio on February 15, 2023, 02:50:36 PM
Recently acquired this ships decanter.  Acid etch is faint but correct for Baccarat.  I cannot find pattern or another Baccarat ships decanter using this blank.  Another thoughts on authenticity?

Hi and welcome.  :)
I can't help with your glass, but I'm afraid we'll have to ask you to change your username if you still can.
It is purely to prevent your email address from getting harvested by spambots. 8)
I'll contact a moderator in case they are needed to help you do this.
Somebody else will know about your glass, don't worry - it's just not my area, although I do not think this shape is correct for a ship's decanter. They have wide flat bottoms so they don't fall over on high seas. :)

Thank you!  I should have included that the flat base diameter is 17.78 cm and height is 19.05 cm.

Caveat that I know absolutely nothing about decanters or their designs :)

Waterford seem to have used that cup shaped neck  design on theirs.
Have you emailed Baccarat to ask?
