Part of a suite with the Rd.80013 from 1/9/1887, this is a 5" bowl, overall diameter 8". There is one in the Glass Queries Gallery which I think is possibly smaller and a sugar bowl, with a lid, there's no recess or wear on mine to suggest it had one. Weight is about 950gms.

The books say that Edward Moore started to add lead to glass again in the 1890s but I've never seen any sign of it in these late 1880s registrations.

Neil, I must get a new one but using a rather ancient spring balance I make the density around 2.7gms/cm3. It has a slight ring to it despite being heavily moulded.
